Exterior

From a style perspective, two thumbs up. The Edge ST is seen as part of a performance SUV and distinguishes itself from standard cars in a number of different ways. For starters, it gets top and bottom black mesh grille as opposed to the chrome grille on a standard car. Second, get a beautiful 21-inch gloss black alloy wheels that make it look more sporty than a standard car. And finally, it gets a double trapezoidal exhaust that is opposite to the circular exhaust on a standard car. Overall, this is a handsome package and it is something we can unanimously agree on.

Inland

On the inside, Ford continues to distinguish 'ST' from standard cars. Being a performance-oriented model, Edge ST gets a sports chair that is highly supported and covered with a combination of leather and suede. With limited skin on the outside of the seat, suede keeps you in place and stops you from slipping while driving quickly.

To make the sports pretension clearer, 'ST' accepts leather sewn on the door panel, leather sewn on the steering wheel, fake carbon fiber trim on the dashboard, and aluminum on the gas pedal and brake pedal. Which just for the record is all good, but I just hope Ford has paid a little more attention to the interior and reduced the amount of hard plastic that is open.

Being an SUV, the second line is important and rightfully so. At Edge ST, it's very spacious with lots and lots of legroom, but headroom isn't too good. The chairs lean back and there is a rear AC vent and power outlets as well.

the features

Being an SUV that serves a younger audience, the Edge ST has many features, some good ones, and some not so good ones. First, there is an 8-inch infotainment screen equipped with Ford SYNC 3 software, functioning properly, equipped with built-in navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto as well.

Second, many cars today come with parallel and perpendicular automatic parking systems, but very few are as good as those used by Ford. It makes you look like a parking champion and because having help exits the park, it makes getting out of a parking lot as difficult as entering.

Third, it has a cool ambient lighting system that illuminates various parts of the cabin including the cupholder. It has a brilliant Bang & Olufsen audio system, and a large panoramic glass roof that gives the impression of a much wider cabin.

But now it's time to highlight the not so good features. You see there are some cars that are equipped with standard cruise control and adaptive cruise control and Edge ST is one of them. In most cars that come with both systems, you simply press the cruise control button and you can switch between using standard cruise control or adaptive cruise control, but not on the Edge.
